A Checklist for Success
Whether you are just beginning to use UniFund applications, or have been using them for years, there is always room for improvement. Take a few minutes to consider these resolutions for 2012 - you may be surprised how even the simplest of these tasks lead to real results!
In 2012, I / we resolve to:
- Reconcile our checkbooks and General Ledger cash balances every month
- Let BudgetSense manage our employee documents - do away with the stacks of paper in our HR office
- Inventory all the spreadsheets used in the office and investigate if they can be better handled in BudgetSense
- Cut down on mailing, printing and labor expenses with emailed purchase orders and direct deposit receipts
- Email notices to employees via BudgetSense
- Consider WebSense for employee self-service
- Implement remote hours entry and remote requisitions
- Implement budget build-up and reporting in BudgetSense
- Implement applicant-to-employee tracking features in the Human Resources module
- Assess and update Backup Maintenance Plans
- Consider the UniFund Disaster Recovery program to protect our mission-critical data
- Review and update user accounts in the Client Portal and in the IT Portal
- Attend as many iLinc training sessions as possible
