BudgetSense Security and Workflow Administration

The strength of any workflow-based system is in its foundation of controls and security. BudgetSense offers a highly customizable workflow and approval design system with user-defined security controls, to ensure the right people are working on the right things.

BudgetSense contains security protocols at multiple layers. Based on user login, you'll have access to predetermined modules, functions and menus within modules, and even to fields on module windows. During the planning phase of your implementation, your Field Service Manager works with you to identify the program components each of your users will be able to view and / or edit.

BudgetSense also contains logs that report user activity:

• The Access Log records each attempt any user makes to access a menu item. With each access attempt, BudgetSense logs time and date, the menu item, the mode, the module, and whether access was granted or denied.
• The Change Log automatically tracks any changes made to employee demographics, deductions, deduction / leave control, positions, and pay information. Users making changes will be prompted to supply a reason for each change.
• The Approval Logs display an audit trail of the BudgetSense users who have approved transactions, and when they approved them.
