UniFund Welcomes Ayer - Shirley (MA) Regional Schools

Ayer-Shirley Regional School District has recently awarded a contract to UniFund LLC for the implementation of the BudgetSense Enterprise Financial and Human Resources software system. The goal for the software project will be to leverage UniFund's integrated workflow and electronic document management features to eliminate paper, and to operate as efficiently as possible.

According to Evan Katz, Business Manager for the new district,after spending months investigating the various accounting software programs available, he and District Treasurer, Bill Plunkett, recommended UniFund because of its reputation for better customer service, and lower cost over the long run. Ayer-Shirley is the first new K-12 regional district created in Massachusetts since 2001. The new district was approved in a March, 2010 vote by the two north central Massachusetts towns. Ayer-Shirley will begin educational operations for approximately 1,800 students in the 2011-2012 school year.
