RevenueSense® Miscellaneous Billing is a flexible invoicing
and collection system used for special invoicing functions, such as
ambulance billing, special assessments, inter-governmental billing,
facility rentals, Cobra insurance coverage, and other sundry billing
situations. The system automatically prints all bills, updates the
Accounts Receivable module and calculates financial and past due account
charges. All affected accounts and cost centers utilizing the billing
system are integrated with the general ledger for automatic updates.
Link Multiple Accounts to a Single Name
RevenueSense billing and collection provides for a common name file
for all functions, where possible, resulting in the linking of all
accounts receivable records by name. The Account Maintenance form,
the module’s master record, allows for the use of an existing
name and address record. This form separates Miscellaneous Billing
accounts receivable from other modules’ accounts receivable.
By security system set-up, this module may be controlled independently
by department or be a part of all of the accounts receivable at a
central location or at remote locations. Invoice records may be viewed
by browsing the file.
Easily Record Recurring Miscellaneous Charges
The miscellaneous recurring billing function provides for a record
of miscellaneous charges that are billed at regular intervals. Fields
are provided for the class code, batch name, reference name or number,
starting and ending dates, payment details (including quantity and
price), billing frequency and any additional comments. Modifications
may be made to the new billing record as required.
Search Billing Records Quickly
The module’s flexible search capability allows for the speedy
location of miscellaneous billing records. Once search criteria are
selected, the entire file may be browsed in that order, or a specific
invoice or account may be entered or selected and all of the related
activity will appear. Search options include account number, name,
federal ID, Social Security number, and a miscellaneous billing invoice
or account number.
Easy-to-Use Payment Processing
Payments are processed through the Accounts Receivable and Collection
module, utilizing the same methods of payment as the Tax Assessment
and Billing and Utility Billing modules. In the payment entry screen,
click on “Inquiry” and all summary and detail transactions
may be viewed for all accounts receivable due or for only miscellaneous
billing, however it has been set up in security.
Standard and Custom Reporting Capabilities
An array of standard reports to assist in the day-to-day functions
of billing, statements, balancing, proofing and collection is available.
These reports may be modified in Crystal Reports® to meet any
custom requirements.
