During the taxation process, this module expertly handles unlimited,
user-defined taxation bases, tax codes, levies, credits, and exemptions.
Apply the tax rate against assessment, taxable values, units, square
feet or acres. Utilize a different taxation base and employ unlimited
exemptions with each levy. Sort exemptions by name or property, with
specific starting and ending dates, and enter them as percentages
of assessment and/or taxable values. Automatically print, scan and
renew exemption abatement /renewal letters and notifications.
Numerous Tax Billing Selections
RevenueSense delivers a variety of options in producing tax bills.
Print bills by a user-definable sequence, including account number,
cycle, mortgage company, and/or zip code/alphabetical order. Generate
tax bills annually, semi-annually, quarterly or monthly for regular,
prorated, preliminary or estimated taxes. Also, print interim or
demand bills, including any penalty, interest due and adjustments
based on user-set parameters.
Detailed Tax Billing Information
Using supporting data in the system’s tax collection records,
any type of exemption, credit, abatement or lien can be processed.
With unlimited years of tax billing history readily available, information
on payments, adjustments and interest charges can be accessed for
as long as needed. Adjusted tax bills can be easily recalculated based
on an assessment change. An inquiry on a specific bill also allows
for a separate breakdown of every item with a total amount due, including
interest calculated to specific dates.
Delinquent Tax Collection Assistance
This module, in conjunction with Tax Title and Tax Lien, assists
treasurers and tax collectors in collecting delinquent taxes. Beginning
with the initial notice, the system tracks each stage of the tax
taking process. The transfer of delinquent taxes from property receivables
to tax title receivables is completely automated. Tax lien certificates
that include all property information, including unpaid utilities
and special assessments, are easily printed.
