Position: Sales Representative – Entry Level Training Program

Department: Sales and Marketing
Reports To: Director, Sales and Marketing

A Sales Representative will enter a company training and mentoring program that provides a comprehensive education to learn our market characteristics, software products, consultative and implementation methods, sales presentation, and marketing strategies. The result of the training program will be a solid foundation in professional skills that leads to a successful and rewarding career in the software industry. Business majors preferred but will consider other outstanding candidates.

Responsibilities include managing a prospect pipeline, executing needs analyses, formulating peak performance plans, demonstrating software, creating return on investment proposals, negotiating and closing new contracts, and managing accounts. Compensation includes a progressive salary structure with additional commission opportunities available after training period is completed, as well as reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses within company policies.


Position: Field Services Consultants, Entry and Senior Levels
Department: Field Services
Reports To: Director, Field Services

Field Services Consultants travel to client sites to install software and train client personnel on our financial management and revenue systems. They assist clients as they migrate from their present legacy system to proficiency in all aspects of our software programs, including security, general ledger, budgeting, procurement, accounts payables, accounts receivable, fixed assets, payroll and human resources, tax, motor vehicle, utility billing and collection, licenses and permitting, and traditional treasury functions. During implementation, a Field Services Consultant reviews current operating workflows and promotes procedural adjustments that will improve operating efficiency and productivity as the client uses our applications.

Additional responsibilities of the Entry Level Field Services Consultant may include administrative support related to project management tasks during an implementation, aiding clients with data entry on a temp-contractual basis, and performing first-level support. The ideal candidate for this role possesses a high level of motivation, is career-oriented and driven by success, is a team player with strong communication skills, and advanced problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate also has a BA/BS in a business-related or technology-related focus, or equivalent experience. 50% or more local travel required with this position.

The Senior Level Field Services Consultant is responsible for senior-level training events and day-to-day management of the overall implementation of our Windows®-based financial and personnel management software for schools and municipalities. Additional responsibilities may include administrative support related to project management tasks, performing second-level support, and internal training for company new-hires and existing employees. The ideal candidate for this role has a background in municipal accounting and technology, experience with project management (PMP-certified ideal), possesses a high level of motivation, and is driven by success. The ideal candidate also has a BA/BS in a business-related or technology-related focus, MA desirable or equivalent experience (5-10 years in project management/software implementation services). 60-65% or more travel required with this position.


Position: Service Account Managers, Entry and Senior Levels
Department: Support and Continuing Services
Reports To: Director, Support and Continuing Services

The Service Account Manager is a point of contact for all client (post-project close) inquiries, issues, and requests for assistance. Duties and responsibilities include resolution of client-related issues, maintenance of the call tracking database, installing and testing software upgrades, and developing or editing knowledge base topics and other documentation as assigned.

Continuing Services are defined as those on-going training and comprehensive support opportunities that are prompted by client staffing turnover, cross-training and re-training requests, implementation of new policies, procedures and software modules. These projects may be accomplished via phone, iLinc, or on-site visits.

The successful Service Account Manager (SAM) demonstrates strong communications skills and motivation. A SAM can resolve client issues with minimal supervision, troubleshoot and analyze software, and is proficient in accounting, use of computers, and the SQL environment. Experience with (end-use and / or support of) other accounting software (commercial or fund-focused) is a plus.

The Senior Level Service Account Manager serves as a mentor for entry level consultants, to develop their product knowledge and support skills. Senior Level Consultants are required to demonstrate proficiency with at least two versions of the software UniFund currently supports. Additional responsibilities may include administrative support related to project management tasks, performing second-level support, and internal training for company new-hires and existing employees.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in municipal accounting and software support, and should possess a high level of motivation to assist as we grow and develop the overall performance of the Support Group.


Position: Software Developer
Department: Product Development
Reports to: Director, Product Development

Software Developers are responsible for developing new functionality and making complex changes to our Windows®-based financial and personnel management software applications. Additional responsibilities include resolving technical problems for internal and external customers, and data conversions.

The ideal candidate brings a mixture of academic, computer science and hands-on programming skills and should possess a high level of motivation and be driven by success.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with the following technologies: VB.net, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Access. A bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related experience is preferred.
