As 2009 winds to a close, we look back to reflect back on the year's highlights. Let's take a few moments to appreciate the progress we have made, and to thank those who helped us along the way.
First and foremost, we thank all of our clients who have contributed their time, effort and feedback to help us improve UniFund products and services. You have played a vital part in the course of events that has made us what we are today. BudgetSense has become significantly more stable over the past several years, while we continually improve upon product performance, and add significant enhancements (many suggested by you).
All enhancement requests are reviewed by the UniFund product committee every month. Although we value everyone's requests, we can't possibly honor all the enhancement requests that we receive. The committee considers overall benefit for the product, the impact of the proposed change on the majority of our clients, and the practicality of implementing the change within the intended software design.
Those that make it past this review process are prioritized and moved to a separate development queue, which is reviewed quarterly to determine enhancement priorities for the next couple of product releases. From there, it's just a matter of time before you hear about these new features in the release notes, and in the iLinc sessions held by your SAMs to announce new releases.

In 2009, there have been some notable improvements to BudgetSense, including Provisional Databases (for "what-if" testing), Compensation Statements, 403(b) / 457(b) Reporting, Grant Management, and much-anticipated enhancements to ExcelSense functionality.

In RevenueSense, 2009 achievements include Interest Due calculation for proper accounting treatment, My Workload, Project Folio, Tax Billing Data Archiving, Enhanced Cash Collection processing, filtering, and A/R Inquiry views, GIS, and WebPortal implementation.
All of us here at UniFund appreciate your suggestions - we know full well that we don't succeed unless you do. Part of that success comes from a focus on workflow improvement - finding ways to make your workday easier, more efficient, and more productive.
